Project BURNING MAN / execution: end of 2010

After three years of preparation the extreme strongman and 10times Guinness world record holder Franz Müllner faces his biggest challenge - the BURNING MAN project!
No one has ever attempted anything as dangerous and as spectacular than this before!
Franz is trying to approch the drive jet of a jet engine as far as possible. Tests in the wind tunnel of Rail Tec arsenal in Vienna were necessary in order to make himself familiar with the developing pressure and the heat. The temperature will be up to 500 degrees and the wind speed will be around 500 km/h. Thus a total weight of 10 tons will rest on the sportsman!
A protective suit was specially designed for the purpose of withstanding these extreme conditions.
